Today Pip came to visit the classes in the senior school to talk to us about the brain. She brought a model of a brain and even two real human brains to show us about things that can go wrong with your brain. Here are the models and brains she brought in.
Leave a comment below and describe something you learnt or found interesting.
This brain had had a bad bleed.
Thanks so much Pip for sharing your knowledge, bringing in the exhibits and for answering our MANY questions!

Swimming Fun
With the warm days and our school pool back in action, Room 19 spent some time enjoying a swim, playing games and having a few races.
St John First Aid
Before going to camp, St John came to school to teach the senior school about basic first aid. We learnt about checking for dangers in an emergency, sending for help, dialing 111 and what information to give the operators, broken bones, sprains, bleeding noses, simple bandaging and basic CPR/recovery position.
2013 Tabloids
On 13 February, the whole school participated in tabloid games run by senior school children. Here are a few snaps of Room 19 children.
