Coat of Arms
Week 2
This week we looked at the meanings behind the colours, animals and symbols found on a coat of arms. Some children even looked up their family coat of arms. We discovered that there can be more than one coat of arms for a family. Here are some photos when Mrs Robinson visited Marksberg Castle on a hill in Braubach located on the Rhine River in Germany. You can see more about this castle here: Marksberg Castle.

Week 4
This week we have been finishing off our coat of arms. We chose our own colours and creatures from the traditional ones we researched to create our own coat of arms. Some students chose to put a motto or their surname on it too. They will be posted below as they are finished.
