Coat of Arms

This week we looked at the meanings behind the colours, animals and symbols found on a coat of arms.  Some children even looked up their family coat of arms.  We discovered that there can be more than one coat of arms for a family.  Here are some photos when Mrs Robinson visited Marksberg Castle on a hill in Braubach located on the Rhine River in Germany.  You can see more about this castle here: Marksberg Castle.
